Nearly 500 people gathered to celebrate the 10 Women of Distinction at the 19th annual event.

Hugely successful Fall Sale Program wraps up
Thanks in part to the popular S’mores Club, the 2016 Fall Sale Program had a 66% increase in girl participation and a 77% increase in sales from 2015.

Colorado Gold Award Girl Scout featured in the New York Times
Sarah Greichen, 2016 Gold Award recipient from Centennial and Girl Scouts of the USA National Young Woman of Distinction, was featured in a New York Times article about Girl Scouts’ new brand platform, G.I.R.L.

GSCO announces delicious partnership with Sweet Cow Ice Cream
The ice cream chain, with locations in Denver and Boulder counties, purchased Girl Scout Cookies from local troops to make two special flavors: Mint Girl Scout Cookie and Samoa Samoa.

Colorado Gold Award Girl Scout named State Honoree by the Prudential Spirit of Community Awards
Emma Albertoni of Arvada is named one of Colorado’s top youth volunteers of 2017 by The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards, a nationwide program honoring young people for outstanding acts of volunteerism.

GSCO license plates will never be retired
The Colorado Department of Revenue decides that the plates, which were created in 2010 and 2011 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of GSUSA, will always be available to anyone who wishes to celebrate GSCO.
