December 2015

Camp registration opens
Girl Scouts of Colorado extends the camp registration season by opening it at the end of 2015.

January 2016

Secrets to Success
Thirty-seven  middle and high school girls, primarily Girl Scouts, participate in the first annual Secrets to Success, sponsored by Alpine Bank and Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction. Twenty-one women business leaders shared their secrets for reaching their professional goals and maintaining a work-life balance.

Cookie Sale Program continues strong
Girls have a great time selling while learning 5 Essentials Skills and marketing their sales with their own videos, raps and more.

Marlene Logan awarded the Juliette Gordon Low World Friendship Medal
Marlene, chair of the GSCO Global Action Group,  is awarded the Juliette Gordon Low World Friendship Medal for her efforts to ensure both girls and adults understand the global dimensions of Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting and have the opportunity to travel while gaining global competency skills.

The first Council’s Own Badge, “Urban Orienteering in the Capital,” is developed by Cadette Girl Scout Troop 63573 from Denver.
